I’m definitely in the lame-ass, rather pointless blog category, but I think anyone who is a regular commenter/contributer in the blogosphere at some point feels the need to say who they are and what they do. Just helps to round out the username and basic profile for those like me who haunt so many blogs and websites about Japan.

I think the change of TokyoFilter to a personal blog makes sense as I only ended up reading your posts, to be honest. Just think of us who have never been to Japan - there is no such thing as too much writing being done by people living there!
