Shinjuku Station East Exit - 2010
In the last couple of years, the face of Shinjuku Station East Exit has changed.
Notice the store on the right is now Bic Camera. Do you remember what it used to be less than a year ago?
In the center of the shot, you see advertising space for sale on a billboard. Do you remember what well-known (now a shadow of its former self) service/education company used to have its four-letter name plastered up there?

My guesses are Sakura-ya, which closed earlier this year, and Nova.

You are correct, sir.
Also, the view from the west side of Kabuki-cho has changed a bit with the addition of Yamada Denki across Yasukuni Dori.

I’m not familiar with Tokyo area at all. I’d doubt myself if I can go that Shinjuku station exit without asking somebody from Tokyo Shinkansen station. And I hesitate to ask because Tokyo people are too busy to stop walking for a stranger…. T_T;;

No shinkansen station in Shinjuku, so you’d have a bit of trouble for sure.
And yeah, Tokyo people can be pretty cold compared to Kansai people, but you can usually find someone to help you out

Nice photo, Billy.
Don’t really miss Shinjuku - I’m sure it’s because I didn’t go there often enough, but I would always get lost walking around there.
